A native Texan, Alexandra Montgomery grew up surrounded by legends and story-telling. As a toddler, Alexandra would act out TV commercials for anyone who would watch and her participation in multiple Christmas pageants confirmed Alexandra's lifelong love of drama.
At university, Alexandra used her varied dance background to choreograph and perform in productions of 'Faust', 'Lucia di Lammermoor', 'Aida', '"Help! Help! The Globbolinks!"' and 'Henry VIII'. She also performed in radio adaptations of The Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge, Tale of Two Cities and a scripted for TV adaptation of the opera 'The Hunted'.
Long after university, a friend from childhood invited Alexandra to participate in the award-winning indie film "Return To The Hiding Place"(CENFLO, BelAir Film Festival winner). That was the door that opened for Alexandra between the operating theater to the theatre of film and stage. Since that time, Alexandra has divided her time between theater studies in New York where she participates in readings with Aching Dogs Theatre Company, MozzleStead Productions and Texas where she is active with SAFilm Council Productions, Branded Outlaw and C47Pictures.
An avid traveler and explorer, Alexandra brings her love of faraway, exotic places and their history to fire her imagination, inspire her creativity and enliven her characters on stage and screen.
